Electronics Warehouse

Electronics Warehouse Electronics Warehouse

This is a classic “old school” electronics parts store that carries all sorts of project boxes, plugs, wiring, motors, components, and even some maker stuff like Arduino. If you get stuck in your project and need a few extra ‘bits’ to get those ‘bytes’ flowing, you are likely to find it here.
From their website:

The Electronics Warehouse Story

In 1960, when Walter and Maureen Moberly first opened shop after his retirement from the Air Force, the young company faced a long, slow struggle. “None of us had any retail experience,” said Don, who joined his parents’ company in 1964 after graduating from Riverside Community College majoring in electronics. “My father had a mortgage on his house and his military retirement pay,” Don said. “The two of us shared a mutual goal of success. ”

While their competition came and went, “trying to get rich selling TVs, appliances and computers,” Don said, the Electronics Warehouse never deviated from its core parts business. “People come to Electronics Warehouse because they know what they need will be in stock,” Don said. Inventory includes belts for VCRs, tape decks and answering machines. In addition, 200 types of switches, thousands of connectors, terminal ends and a million feet of wire allow customers to hook up audio systems, cars, speakers, computer networks or “darn near anything,” Don said. Plus there are batteries in stock for everything including watches, razors, computers and alarms or for industrial use.

A full line of test equipment rounds out the inventory. Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, power supplies and various testing and tracing devices for all applications are stocked throughout the store.

Today, Electronics Warehouse covers over a third of a block in various shops on Main Street in downtown Riverside. Boasting multi-million dollar sales, the store is the largest electronics parts house in the Inland Empire.
